How much do custom blinds cost per window in Ontario?

Custom blinds installed in Ontario cost between $170 and $900 per window in 2026 depending on product: rollers from $170, zebra from $180, verticals from $220, motorized from $450.

How long does blind installation take?

A single-window install takes 15–30 minutes. A typical whole-home install of 10–15 windows is completed in a single 90-minute to 2.5-hour visit.

Are custom blinds worth it vs big-box store blinds?

Yes, if you value fit and longevity. Big-box blinds come in fixed sizes and rarely fit perfectly. Custom blinds are made to your exact opening, fit flush, operate smoothly for 10+ years, and include a workmanship warranty.

Do you offer free in-home estimates in Ajax?

Yes. Free in-home consultations across Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Scarborough, and Markham. We bring samples, measure every window, and give you a written installed price on the spot.

How long does it take to get custom blinds after ordering?

Custom manufacturing takes 7–15 business days. Total time from your first WhatsApp message to installed blinds is usually 2–3 weeks.

Do motorized blinds work with Alexa and Google Home?

Yes. We install motors compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit — with app control, voice commands, and scheduled scenes.

Are cordless blinds required by law in Canada?

Since May 2022, Health Canada has required all corded window coverings sold in Canada to meet strict new safety standards. In practice, every blind we install is cordless — either spring-lift, wand, or motorized.

What's the difference between light-filtering and blackout?

Light-filtering fabric diffuses daylight while keeping some brightness in the room. Blackout fabric blocks light passing through the shade. For total darkness including the frame edges, add side channels.

Can I get blinds installed in a rental or condo?

Yes. We install in owner-occupied condos and landlord-approved rentals, and can provide a Certificate of Insurance ($2M liability) to your property manager or building.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — 5-year workmanship warranty from us, plus the full manufacturer warranty on fabric (typically 3 years) and hardware (typically 5 years).

What if I mismeasure and the blind doesn't fit?

If we measured, we remake it at no cost — it's our responsibility. If you measured yourself and ordered through us, we still cover most fit issues at cost, not full retail.

Do you accept credit cards and e-transfer?

Yes — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac e-Transfer, and cash. Payment is due after installation, not before.

Is HST included in your prices?

The prices published on this site are pre-HST. HST (13%) is added on the final invoice. There are no other fees, surcharges, or minimums.
