The owner-operator story

I started Shine & Shadow in 2016 after installing blinds for one of the national chains for six years. I kept watching customers get quoted 30% above what the product actually cost, pushed into upgrades they didn't need, and handed off to a subcontractor they'd never met to install the job. I built this business to do the opposite.

Every quote comes from me. Every measurement is taken by me. Every installation is done by me. If something goes wrong two years from now, the person answering the WhatsApp is the same person who put the blind on your wall.

How we work

1. You send a WhatsApp message with a photo of your window (or just tell us the rooms).
2. You get a rough installed estimate back within an hour, during business hours.
3. We book a free in-home consultation, usually within 2–4 days. Fabric samples on your table, exact measurements, written price on the spot.
4. Custom manufacturing takes 7–15 business days.
5. Installation is one visit, usually 90 minutes to 2.5 hours, clean and quiet.
6. 5-year workmanship warranty plus full manufacturer coverage.
